August 8, 2014 at 7:04 am #80502Hi Marc,
As you’re using Cache plugin, please try to remove the cache from it first then check for the issue.
August 8, 2014 at 8:10 am #80557Hi, thx for your really great support. I deactivate the cache plugin. Just the same :-/ I select the right navigation on the blog page, but the blog don´t use it…
August 8, 2014 at 8:49 am #80592Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

Blog page can’t use custom menus or one page Navigation menus by default, it’ll be forced to use primary menu.
But if you use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contextual-nav-menu/ it’ll allow you to define specific menus of each page/category etc.
So please install & activate this plugin, go to blog page via WP Admin, from Menu meta box select the menu you want for the page.
Hope this helps, Cheers!
August 13, 2014 at 4:35 am #83564Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I have done everything as described. Unfortunately it does not work.
August 13, 2014 at 5:40 am #83593Hey Marc,
Please setup a global menu as your Primary Menu. That is currently the only way to set a menu for the Blog menu. You can use a plugin however, we do not have support for third party plugins and scripts. With that said, if the plugins don’t works as expected, we recommend that you hire a WordPress developer to setup what you need for you.
Thank you for understanding.
August 13, 2014 at 6:15 am #83607The question is: Why did not I already made rather ?! With the selection as standard menu it was done …
Now there’s just one problem. All items in the shop have now also the menu, not the shop menu. Is there no way the blog and the articles mappers different menus? If there is no such possibility, maybe you can create the blog page with a shortcode on a page? So that it is not superposed.
August 13, 2014 at 7:20 am #83634Hi Marc,
Thank you for writing in!
Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer, or a service like WerkPress or Elto to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
Blog page can be created however the posts will still be having the primary menu.
Thanks for understanding. Take care!
August 13, 2014 at 7:36 am #83644But in your demo it´s working. I just want the same. Onepage navigation for home. Navigation for the rest. And a navigation for the shop.
August 13, 2014 at 8:12 am #83684Hi Marc,
Our Shop Demo pages are fully separate from General Demo sites. Check & compare the permalink structure: http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/ & http://theme.co/x/demo/shop/integrity/
So, my simple suggestion is for you.
Create a one page Navigation for your one page HomePage, create a Primary menu for the rest of your site. Create a shop menu for shop page only, then install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contextual-nav-menu/ edit shop, select the Shop menu for the page.
Hope this makes sense. Have a nice day, Cheers!
August 20, 2014 at 12:02 am #88174Just on this topic, I am looking at doing the same thing.
I have uploaded the plugin, but not sure how to set it up.
I have created a shop menu for shop page only, but where you say “edit shop, select the Shop menu for the page.” not sure what you mean, could you clarify this for me.August 20, 2014 at 2:15 am #88225Hi Bruce,
Thanks for writing in. Which plugin did you install? Also, could you provide us with your website’s URL so we can give you a more accurate response. Thanks!
August 20, 2014 at 5:53 am #88272oh sorry, forgot to mention that.
I uploaded https://wordpress.org/plugins/contextual-nav-menu/
You guys recommended this one in a few posts, so I can specify a different Navigation Menu for each page.My site link
https://50.31.114.44/~authoria/arra.co/shop/I am trying to achieve my woocommerce shop navbar menu to be different from the main site menu, just as in your demo.
I am just having difficulty working it out.
I have made a custom menu for ‘shop’.I know you don’t support third party plugins, but I am sure I am missing a simple step to set my nav bars up like you demo.
If you need my logins, let me know.
