twelvetrainsParticipantHi,
Hope you are doing well! 🙂
I just found out that the X theme outputs wrong language information. Please also see the enclosed screenshot.
The correct language setting should be lang=”nl_NL” (and not lang=”nl”) according to the language I have selected in the WordPress settings.
Because this is not correct the site is not translated and it’s especially clear with BuddyPress.
How can this be corrected? Other websites with different themes do not have this problem.
Thank you,

twelvetrainsParticipantHi, by ‘accident’ I just fount out what the problem is. The WordPress core has recently be changed so that new installs have lang set to ‘nl’. The Dutch WordPress group has addressed this issue and it will be corrected in future releases. Until then we have to change the config lang to ‘nl_NL’. I’m sorry that I thought it was an X theme issue. I noticed that another new install with a different theme had the same problem.
So this ticket can be closed. 🙂
Cheers,
