    Hi,

    I’m building a multilingual site using X and WPML, I’m wondering if there is a way to have a separate footer for say the German version of the website?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! If you translate your site then footer should be translated as well and no need of using duplicate footer. But if you still want, you will need to create a section that looks like footer and hide the usual footer. That is it’s not usually possible to have different footer for a language.

    Thanks for the answer! In that case, could you tell me where I can input the details for the translated footer? I do not recall creating a duplicate footer on my own accord. Thanks!

    Do you mean you did not able to translate the text on your footer with WPML? Please provide us the site URL so we can take a closer look.
