Jonathan JParticipantHi,
I have been utilizing the X Theme on my website for about three years. I think some of my pages were built with the original visual composer. At some point, you added Cornerstone. I noticed my version of WPBakery Visual Composer needs an update. I tried updating it to no avail.
1. Is that because it gets updated automatically when the theme gets updated?
2. Do I still need the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin? I’m worried if I delete it, I will have issues editing any pages that might have been created with it. Please advise.

JoaoModeratorHi Jonathan
1- Please delete Visual Composer. Go to WP-Admin Dashboard > Addons > Install Visual Composer Again. You will get the latest version that is available with the theme.
2- In case you have pages that were built with Visual Composer you do need the plugins installed and activated.
The only plugin you dont need and should not have active is X-Shortcodes, it was incorporated by Cornerstone. Cornerstone is essential to X and both plugins – X shortcodes and Cornerstone cannot run togheter.
Let us know if you have further questions,
Joao

Jonathan JParticipantWill you please click on the link I provided to see the search results that I was seeing?
In any case, how do I remove my customer support posts from the search results? As you can understand, those are not links I want customers clicking on, as they reveal some of the back office details of our business, which is not for public access.
Thanks in advance!!

ChristianModeratorMost of your posts are in private mode so they are not visible to the public. You’re only seeing it because you’re logged in. Anyway, I’ve listed the whole thread as private so no one could see the whole post.
Thanks.
