Hi,

I have a site which is using Wocommerce 2.6.8. I am following the X version compatibility page it says the latest version which is compatible is v2.6.9.

Is it safe for me to update to v2.6.12 as I can’t update to v.2.6.9?

Hi Mark,

It’s always safe to use the latest compatible version. You can download any version form here and install manually – https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/developers/

For example, v.2.6.9 – https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/woocommerce.2.6.9.zip

Hi,

I have downloaded the file and tried to install it but am told that it “can’t be installed due to already being installed”. How do I go about updating using the method you are suggesting?
