allcalParticipantI have products with many variations and can set individual images for each variation. How can I have only the variations show in the shop? (To clarify, I already have the variations showing in the shop, but the original normal product options show too. So if I filter for a color, the correct color variation show, but also the featured image/original shows which I do not want bc it won’t have the correct color.)
…I tried making the product hidden, which worked for removing the product from the shop without removing the product variations, but then the shortcodes for that product wouldn’t work. So if the above question isn’t viable, how can you make a hidden product still be able to be called with a shortcode?

Last, if your answers to my above questions won’t be answered by you…… then this one is be more within a theme questions:
I added the css:.archive.woocommerce .product-type-variable.has-children {
display:none;
}that css did removed the “original/featured product listing” while leaving the variations on the shop page but it shows blank spaces where the removed products were. How can I have the variations fill in those blank spaces?

LelyModeratorHi There,
You would have to make the variations individual products if you want them to show by default. This is just how Woocommerce is setup.
Now if you want a specific product to hide on shop page, please check this instead:http://paperhedge.com/hide-products-from-displaying-in-shop-page-woocommerce/
Hope this helps.

allcalParticipantOk, you missed what I said. The variations are already in the shop. Lets just focus on: if you have css with a display:none; that leaves blank spaces, how do you fill them?
For example, i removed a certain type of product from the shop but it leaves blank spaces where they use to be:
.archive.woocommerce .product-type-variable.has-children {
display:none;
}I want the remaining products (that are variations) to display next to each other without spacing so there are always 4 products in a row. The css above also makes the original amount of pages of products available instead shortening the remaining products into less pages.
