I have tried deleting the picture and reloading it. I have also tried to resize the image size, but it has had no effect.

Hi there,

I just checked your console and I got 400 bad request error also checked image URL http://i1.wp.com/www.mikandmandi.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/MG_0578-dpp_edited-1-e1448922357227.jpg?fit=1170%2C9999 in browser and I got ‘We cannot complete this request, remote data was invalid’ error.

thanks a lot. yes I do have a direct link prevention on my site installed (outside of wordpress, as part of site security through my host)
I added wordpress and jetpack to a list of authorised sites and the problem has been fixed.
