    Hi guys,

This is a very strange one, I’m seeing a problem where certain product images in woocommerce are not appearing in the product category view, and only on mobile devices (tested in iOS 7/8 with safari and chrome on an iPhone, same behaviour displayed across all combinations), all of the product images display fine on a desktop browser and even on an iPad mini. On the iPhone the majority of the product images are displayed but some are missing in category view and are replaced with a box containing the product SKU. If you click through to the product page for the individual product all of the images are there, and checking the product in the woocommerce backend, both a product image and additional product images are set. It doesn’t appear to be related to category, items that are on sale, or simple/variable products.

    Wordpress 4.0
    Woocommerce 2.2.4
    X Shortcodes 2.4.0
Integrity Light Stack and child theme (have tried reverting back to standard x theme and still see this problem).

Any ideas greatly appreciated, as I’ve had to delay launching a customers ecommerce site due to this problem. Can provide logon details to site if required.

    Thanks,

    Andy.

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for posting in.

I just tested on my end and compared to desktop view, product images are working fine. Have you cleared your mobile browser’s cache?

    Would you mind sending screenshots?

    Thanks.

    Hey Andrew,

Please try optimizing your images using WP Smush.it plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/ as your images takes a long time to load.

    Thanks.

OK I’ll try to optimise the images now with smush it. Another unrelated query, is there a way of hiding elements in certain media queries with the css for x (similar to bootstraps hidden-xs etc.?)

    Thanks,

    Andy.

    Hey Andrew,

Please see our Visibility shortcode demo at http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/shortcodes/responsive-visibility/ and tutorial at http://theme.co/x/member/kb/shortcode-walkthrough-visibility/ if that is what you require.

    Thanks.
