jrhager84ParticipantHello. I’m not sure why, but my products on the page don’t have the modal ‘x’ to close the window, nor does it have the thumbnails or nav arrows that I’m used to seeing. Is there something special I need to do in order to get a working carousel with x? I’m used to just installed Twist and being done with it. Thanks!

jrhager84ParticipantThe first pic is the carousel working before the hero image is clicked (which usually opens a larger modal carousel for users to browse).
Second is what it actually does (which is just open the image in the same window. Thank you for your time.

RupokMemberHi there,
I guess it has same color as background and that’s why not visible. To assist you with this issue, we’ll first need you to provide us with your URL. This is to ensure that we can provide you with a tailored answer to your situation. Once you have provided us with your URL, we will be happy to assist you with everything.

jrhager84ParticipantIt’s a local server, so I cannot give an address. You can plainly see there’s no (X) to close the modal after you click the hero image, and it also just goes to the image like a web address. See attached photo.

RadModeratorHi there,
We can see that from the screenshot and it’s probably a javascript error, but since we can’t check it then there is no way for us to troubleshoot it.
Thanks!

jrhager84ParticipantThere are zero javascript errors, if that helps.

ChristianModeratorBased on your screenshot, the image is simply loaded. That means the lightbox is not working. Please check if the lightbox is enabled in WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display.
Thanks.

jrhager84ParticipantI don’t even see a lightbox option under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display
I have these options:

LelyModeratorHi There,
Thank you for the screenshot.
You might have Woocommerce Version 2.7.0-beta-1
Please downgrade to Woocommerce 2.6.14. Install it on Plugins > Add New > On Search Plugins Textfield type Woocommerce. There’s a known issue installing it on Addons that it gives a Beta version instead of the stable version.Hope this helps.

jrhager84ParticipantLely — You are a BEAST! That was EXACTLY what the issue was. Lightbox is now working perfectly. Thank you so much!

jrhager84ParticipantSo — This is unfortunate. I had custom code from content-single-product.php in the x-child subdirectory, and downgrading to the stable release of WC wiped it. Is there somewhere I can find it? I’d really hate to recode that whole thing. haha

jrhager84ParticipantFound a copypasta of my work, so we’re good. Man, I didn’t realize it would deleted custom files in my actual x-theme code. That’s weird. Oh well, at least I know for next time. Thanks!
