Hi. I want costumers only to have acces to the frontend of the page, not the wp-login backend.
In other versions of woocommerse ther is a checkbox under “Settings” sayin: Prevent customers from Accesing wordpress admin

I cant find that option in my settings, thru i use woo Version 2.1.12 (works in german language)……

Can anybody help me?

Hey Till,

You can Prevent customers from accessing WordPress admin. Just follow these steps:

1. Go to Woocommerce > Settings
2. Under General Options find “Customer Accounts”
3. Click on “Prevent customers from accessing WordPress admin” checkbox
4. Save changes

This will prevent customers from accessing WordPress admin.

Thanks for the quick reply! How i wrote in the question above, This option does not show in my settings….
is that because of the version or does it not show in the german version.
Maybe there are other possibilitis?

Thanks for the information. It seems that we would need to check on this further. Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Prevent option has been removed from newer versions of WooCommerce (Check blog post comments, others also complaining about this)
