Every image I upload an image in products page it displays blurry, but only on google chrome browser. I’ve tested on safari and explorer, haven’t tested on firefox. Tested on multiple computers to the same results. Please, assistance with this issue would be of great help.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in.

Would you mind providing some screenshots of what you’re getting? It’s not blurry on my end (Chrome browser). Would you mind providing some details of the device you’re testing it on?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

I see, it’s the compression. Please check it here https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/fix-jpeg-compression/?npp=b&utm_expid=3606929-84.YoGL0StOSa-tkbGo-lVlvw.1&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com.ph%2F

If it’s not effective, then you should contact your hosting provider (eg. WordPress.com). Maybe they imposed that kind of compression.

    Thanks!

    Hi the,

That blurry effect isn’t fixable by CSS, it’s directly applied to the image. Please compare this http://i0.wp.com/theprestigiousone.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/MEDS-Hat.png (an image you uploaded to your site) to this one https://s3.amazonaws.com/community-themeco/app/uploads/2016/09/16055352/MEDS-Hat.png (original image from you).

Those are direct image’s URLs and not pages, it can’t be affected by CSS. Perhaps, you may try contacting your hosting provider for second thought. Image processing is done by WordPress, depending on the settings imposed to it. The theme and plugins are merely pulling the images processed by WordPress.

    Thanks for understanding.
