marketingsuccess1ParticipantWhy am I getting asked to activate, this site is licensed in theme x?
Hola! Would you like to receive automatic updates and unlock premium support? Please activate your copy of Visual Composer.

John EzraMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Bundled/Integrated plugins are fully functional. They are modified slightly to work seamlessly with X. Therefore, we can’t have automatic updates with the original developers as it may cause conflicts with the Theme. Also most if not all developers who provide their plugins for integration with premium themes can’t really provide premium support to their plugin within those themes.
They can work with the theme developers in this case our dev team here at Theme.co but can’t extend that support to our users as it simply isn’t possible.
We provide support for integration issues with these bundled/integrated plugins and basic support. It is assumed the user knows how to use these plugins or has used theme before.
Our users who really need help using VC beyond basic support, have opted to purchase a license from Visual Bakery directly so they can get support. However, they don’t use the automatic updates as it will overwrite the bundled version.
Having said that, you can safely ignore this message regarding activation. The plugin should work fine without it. If it isn’t do let us know and we will check on our end.
Hope this helps clarify – thanks!
