Hello,
I have been having issues with my parallax shaking on my homepage. My url is http://www.manclinics.com. The pic size is 1200×500, top row margin 10%, bottom margin is 2%. It did used to do this, and now it randomly does. Any suggestions for those helpful people out there?
Eric
February 8, 2015 at 11:43 pm #201981Hi Eric,
Thanks for writing in!
I am sorry but I could not replicate the issue at my end.
I need to know what browser, version and operating system you are experiencing the issue.
February 10, 2015 at 11:34 am #203328I am using google chrome version 25.0.1342.0, windows 7 operating system. This is my old computer. I checked on my new mac operating system and it had the same issue. It’s strange because, I will refresh the page and it will not shake the first couple of times I scroll through the parallax but will start shaking on the 4th or 5th round of scrolling.
February 10, 2015 at 6:36 pm #203618Hi there,
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Hope it helps, Cheers!
February 11, 2015 at 4:18 pm #204371Hi,
I discontinued all plugins that were not X theme related, and I still have the issue. Any other thoughts?
February 12, 2015 at 10:57 am #205076Hi again,
Latest version of X is now released. please update your X theme and plugins to the latest version and check the site again. Hopefully this will resolve the issue.
Let us know how this goes!
February 22, 2015 at 5:41 pm #212473Updating to this newer version was a HUGE!!! mistake! Everything looks different and I do not know how to fix it!!!!
February 23, 2015 at 1:40 am #212705Hi Eric,
Upon checking, I didn’t find anything wrong with your site.
It looks fine at my end, can you provide us some screenshots of what your seeing. Please try to clear your browser cache and plugin cache(if you have one installed.)
Thanks
February 23, 2015 at 11:39 am #213152Thank you for the suggestion. I thought I cleared it but apparently I was doing it in the wrong place. I really appreciate your help!
February 23, 2015 at 11:48 am #213156Ohh it just happened again… I thought clearing the cache would fix it but apparently not. I still have shaking when scrolling over the parallax.
February 23, 2015 at 2:09 pm #213277Hi Eric,
I’m a different support member and tested your website on several browsers on Mac, the site is loading fine for me. Would you mind providing us with a video of the issue?
Thank you.
October 2, 2015 at 11:37 pm #608973I am having the same issue on a new install of x– I cleared my browser cache and made sure the smoothscroll plugin was enabled. Neither actions resolved the issue. We have no third-party plug-ins. I am using MS EDGE on Windows 10. The website is http://www.raceallin.com —
October 2, 2015 at 11:39 pm #608976I’ll try to upload the second screenshot again. This image is showing the white bar on the bottom of the screen as I am scrolling upwards on the touch screen. just imagine the image shaking, and that is what I’m experiencing.
October 2, 2015 at 11:42 pm #608977it does appear to be an IE/MS Edge issue (as always, it seems)– but my concern is the visitors to the site who use this browser. The shakiness really looks awful, and isn’t a very professional representation of my client, you know? I hope you can help:)
