Hello,
I am trying to fix the mixed content warnings I am getting with my SSL from the Google fonts being pulled from http.
Where can I find the Google fonts in the theme files? (http://fonts.gstatic.com/)
siriusdesigngroup.com
Thank you!
August 29, 2016 at 1:48 pm #1152193Hi there,
I am not getting any mixed content error and SSL seems fine on my end – http://prntscr.com/cbsovh
We are not using any static http:// link so you should not get it with X although your third party plugin might cause this. Since I can’t see this so can’t point this right now. If you still face mixed content error you can try this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-force-ssl/
Thanks!

We see the mixed content for the Google fonts on this page
August 29, 2016 at 2:38 pm #1152274We are running wp force ssl as well.

Thanks for writing back. If you seethe source, you will see google font loaded by X is not using http:// – http://prntscr.com/cc6g86
Kindly disable all third party plugins and check again. And try using the suggested plugin (WP Force SSL). I can’t see this on your site rather another one.
Cheers!
August 31, 2016 at 1:35 am #1154620Hello, I still see the Google fonts pulling over non ssl at http. I’ve attatched the photo. I see this with all the plugins disabled and I intalled WP Force SSL and the fonts are still http.
August 31, 2016 at 2:16 am #1154672Hi there,
Kindly follow the instruction (https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/how-to-check-if-the-mixed-content-fixer-is-active/) for the SSL plugin you are using – http://prntscr.com/cce449
Thanks!
August 31, 2016 at 1:16 pm #1155508So, my minify from W3 Total Cache was blocking that notice. Disabling it now shows it detects on front-page. However, fonts are STILL pulling over http as shown in Firefox
August 31, 2016 at 3:47 pm #1155697Hi Robert,
I have just checked the pricing page and the console doesn’t display the warnings anymore. Please refer to the screenshot.
Would you mind trying to clear your browser cache and try to load the site again as you might be seeing a cached version.
September 1, 2016 at 11:12 am #1157072Fantastic! I see the same thing now. Thank you very much for all the assistance! Very much appreciate it!
September 1, 2016 at 11:17 am #1157082Actually, my caching plugin was disabled for some reason, as soon as I actived it, the mixed content warnings came back as in my provided screenshots above even though the SSL plugin is working. What can I do about this?
September 1, 2016 at 11:25 am #1157097I found it! A previous developer had the paths set in the minify css from a long time ago when we used to use this plugin. I made the paths relative, site secure now. Thank you again for assistance.
September 1, 2016 at 12:06 pm #1157166Very glad to hear it’s all sorted now Robert. Cheers! 🙂
