    Hi, please see the attached annotated image.

    Few questions:

    – What is this?
    – What does it do?
    – How do I remove it?
    – Why does it expand when clicked?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in!

    – This is called “Header Widget Areas”.

    – You can place widget on the header area. If you click on the + icon then it will dropdown the widgets. See from demo – http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/

    – You can manage this from Customize > Header > Widgetbar > Header Widget Areas. To remove this, select None (Disabled)

    – I believe you got this answer already. It expands to show the widgets on it.

    Hope this makes sense.
