Upon checking your site, you may have added the code in your chid theme’s functions.php file, regretfully the child theme is not active. You must make sure that child theme is active. Before activating the child theme, please go to X Addons > Customizer Manager and download the XCS file. This will serve as a backup to your customizer settings. Once you activate the child theme, you can import the XCS file again to make sure and preserve all your customizer settings you currently have.

I implemented it in your child theme, it doesn’t work. Timeout is still set to 10000ms(10seconds). Then I edited the codes directly in the theme and in WordPress just in case something else is overriding it too, and it doesn’t work either. This makes the culprit the hosting configuration. All the codes are changed with no success, maybe it’s something globally overridden by them.
Another possible cause is not properly installed cURL extension (system related). You should contact them and forward this thread https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/validation-fix-installed-curl-on-my-vps-and-it-works/, that is if they are aware of proper and non-proper installation. If you’re on shared hosting, then I’m afraid that they couldn’t do that unless they will update the system where all other sites are running (shared).

Thanks for providing the information above. I have tried to install the Church demo in the Addons section. The demo import failed due to your server issues. I manually imported the demo content instead. To help you set it up in your ther WP installation, I have attached the needed files for the church demo contents.
