    Hi!
    I tried all the solutions I could find on the forums without success. Still getting the “We’re sorry, the demo failed to finish importing” when I try to install the “Church” expanded demo.

    It’s a new site so if you need to install it or do some changes you can do it. There’s no need for a backup before the changes. Thanks!

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in! It seems that you are experiencing the PHP memory limit exhaustion. We recommend that you increase your memory allocated to PHP. To increase it, please edit your wp-config.php file and insert these lines:

    define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
    define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

    You can add it before the line
    /*That's all, stop editing! Happy Blogging. */

    Hello There,

    Thanks for updating in! Upon checking, your PHP memory limit has not been changed. You can check it in Slider Revolution > System Requirements. Please see the image below:

    Hi Rue, I fixed the PHP memory limit and the Slider Revolution error is not showing anymore but unfortunately I can’t install the “Church” expanded demo. It is showing the same message ““We’re sorry, the demo failed to finish importing”
    Please, help me!

    Hi again,

    I took a closer look and You need to set the amount of time curl gets to complete its operations with curl_setopt. Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase the cURL time.

    Hi,
    After 2 hours in direct contact with the hosting provider support they gave me this final response:

    “I have increased for your domain max_execution_time = 300 and max_input_time = 300.
    So could you please contact the developers of this theme with this issue and ask them what php settings or requirements for this theme should be installed on the server.

    An information that can lead to a conclusion. I previously installed the X Theme in other domain and unsigned the theme to use with the current domain. It could be the cause or resulting some conflict now with the new domain?
    Because when I installed the theme with the previous domain nothing of this happened!

    Hi There,

    Please navigate to Manage Licenses page here, and make sure your purchased code (license) is assigned to the correct site. If its not please re-assign it and re-activate the site by following this post.

    Please confirm the following to your host:

    – Ensure your site can reach this domain: community.theme.co
    – Ensure cURL is installed/enable.
    - Ensure allow_url_fopen is enabled.

    Especially the PHP cURL as that is the common one that cause this issue.

    Let us know how it goes.
