Hello

I have just set up the demo for Ethos 1 and I am getting some weird text in the background of the sidebar and the headers. I have tried this twice now and it happened both times. Please can you let me know why this is happening and how to change it?

Would you mind sharing us your admin credential so we could take a better look on your setup.

Don’t forget to set it as private reply.

Usually, it can be fixed by re-saving you backround or adding background image or color then remove it again in your customizer.

I literally just installed WordPress, just installed the theme and then uploaded the demo! That’s it. And it was there. I then got annoyed that I couldn’t get rid of it, I deleted the whole site and redid the process all over again and it was there again!

Hello There,

Thanks for the site admin credentials and sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.
When you install a demo content, it comes with a background image that we have to reset. To do this go to Appearance > Customize > Layout and Design > Background Pattern and Background Image. Select an image for both then Save. Then remove it again in case you don’t want a background image. This way the background image that comes with the demo content will be overwritten.
