Hi,
I’m setting up a site for a client and it works fine in Chrome, but have some issues in Safari. There’s a weird quick red “blinking” overlay covering the page when it’s loading, when you resize the browser and also when you hover items. In the images attached you can see how the menu looks when you hover it (it’s not the normal/intended hover function) and when you resize the browser (site goes all red).
I have looked around for solutions, but have no idea how to solve this. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Emy

Thanks for writing in! We tried viewing your site, but I think it is asking for a password? Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
May 11, 2016 at 3:29 pm #986520Hi again!
Turns ut that the red overlay only happens when I use “inspect elements” on sites. And it happens on every page I visit, not only my own site. Haven’t seen it before, but it appears to have nothing to do with the X-theme after all.
Thanks anyway!
May 11, 2016 at 6:53 pm #986757Hi there,
Thanks for updating the thread! Yes, when inspecting your site using browser tools, there is an option that will highlight the elements for you so you can see which area the code you are looking at refers to. This feature is turned on by default by most browsers.
Hope this clarifies – thanks and have a wonderful day!
