bhmediaParticipantI have three websites, all become broken upon updating to the latest version of WP, X, VC and Cornerstone. The first two websites I had to recover from a backup. The third website I had just launched and used the development server version to test and figure this issue out.
The issue began when like a lot of people, VC’s backend editor stopped loading. I also noticed that the Theme > Customization wouldn’t load either. I figured an update would do the trick–and it did. The backend worked great again but it completely broke the front end. What ends up happening is the styling on all of the pages is thrown off (almost like a bunch of CSS is missing) and there are shortodes being displayed everywhere as plain-text.
Dev Site for testing: http://backhouselive.com/lhe
Live Site: http://lighthearted.com (working correctly)Wordpress 4.5.1
Theme X: 4.4.2
VC: 4.11.2.1
Cornerstone: 1.2.4I really need help in solving this issue, as the other two sites I had to revert from backup now have a functional front end, but the inability to use VC’s backend editor is now present again.
