I went on holidays for 2 days and when I came back I checked my website http://www.foggyfood.com and it showed the header with no menu I then logged in to see if I could sort the problem and then from the dashboard I checked if the website worked and it showed up fine but then I logged out and checked the website and got the same problem I then changed the theme and the website showed up when logged out I then changed the theme back to X but the problem persisted.
Help would be appreciated
August 9, 2015 at 5:38 pm #354451Hi FoggyFood,
There could be an issue with one of the plugins being used on the site. There is a possibility that if visitors are not logged in, they are restricted to the site.
Try disabling each plugin one by one. If the issue is corrected when a certain plugin is disabled, then you may need to contact the plugin developers or leave it disabled and find an alternative.
Thanks,
Chris

Thanks for writing in! @creatications thanks for assisting. You may also want to check if anything auto updated like wordpress or plugins. Let us know what you find. Thanks!
August 10, 2015 at 7:50 am #354927I disabled the plugins one by one and I found that it was Buddypress causing the problem.
This is bad because Buddypress was kind of vital to my site.
I Disabled all the plugins to see if I could find a conflict between Buddypress and another plugin I tried to deactivate cornerstone but it refused to deactivate.
I guess a website that works is better than no website!
Answers to why Buddypress isn’t working with my site would be appreciated.August 10, 2015 at 8:19 am #354955Hi,

Upon testing your site, it seems that your site is working now (see: http://screencast.com/t/O7g67WoH).
Also I see that your menu does not have menu items assigned (see: http://screencast.com/t/Qcb9inO9BaP).
Thanks!
August 10, 2015 at 3:39 pm #355316Thanks for the speedy reply!
I fixed the before you replied by disabling Buddypress, but I really would like Buddypress to work on my site.
The problem only occurs When the plugin Buddypress is activated so currently I have Buddypress disabled so my site can be viewed until a solution is found.Answers would be appreciated on why Buddypress doesn’t work on X for me anymore.
August 10, 2015 at 5:11 pm #355403Hi there,
There could be a conflict of BuddyPress plugin with another plugin. Activate BuddyPress and deactivate all third party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Let us know how this goes!
August 11, 2015 at 1:55 pm #356260I tried to deactivated all plugins at the same time to see if there even was a conflict but cornerstone refused to delete those this mean Buddypress is incompatible with X?
August 11, 2015 at 5:49 pm #356409Hi There,
Thanks for writing in! It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Thank you for your understanding.
August 27, 2015 at 7:01 am #371200I understand you don’t support this but I recently did some testing with other themes and found the problem did not occur with Buddypress I tried doing a delete and reinstall of x twice but the problem still persists would it be an incompatibility with x and buddypress as X 4.07 only supports buddypress 2.1.1 and I have Buddypress 2.3.2.1.
would this be the problem or is the problem within wordpress? If I could be pointed in the right direction I would appreciate it.
Thanks!

August 27, 2015 at 11:21 am #371374Hi there,
I tried to login in your website, but the given credentials are no longer working. Would you mind confirming the logins again?
In the meantime, kindly deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and keep X bundled and BuddyPress activated so we can investigate the issue in detail.
Don’t forget to select Set as private reply to ensure your data remains hidden from other users.
Thanks!
