May 2, 2015 at 2:24 pm #263948I’m sorry, this all might as well be in Chinese!! What does all this mean? How can I fix it? I looked at your flow chart and it didn’t make any sense!! Please help! I’m pretty new at this, I used the theme flatsome before and was able to get that figured out. This is giberish! Please help. I don’t even know where to begin.
May 2, 2015 at 9:07 pm #264067Hey there,
Sorry for the confusion. Regarding your website performance, please see our article https://theme.co/x/member/kb/performance/. There are many factors why your site slowed down when you switched to X. One factor is maybe because of image sizes. X uses its own image size that might be bigger than your previous theme. The reason for that is so images render crisp and clearly in retina devices.
Regarding your other question, we’d love to help you with that however, that is WooCommerce customization so regretfully, that falls outside the scope of our support. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://theme.co/x/member/custom-development/.
Thank you for understanding.
May 3, 2015 at 5:05 pm #264544Thank you Ill read over that material, but back to the cross-origin sharing policy error, how doI fix that? step by step? Or could you log in and fix? Thats what flatsome did

This plugin w3-total-cache/w3-total-cache.php is not allowed on our system. It has been automatically deactivated. This is what happened when I tried to follow ypur instructions
May 3, 2015 at 8:23 pm #264642Sorry to hear that. Is WP Engine your host? In that case, they already have optimized caching and performance settings built-in to their system. If you’re running on a different host, you will need to contact them regarding setting up caching.
Regarding the Cross-Origin Policy, this is because the link to your site you’ve given above uses http and not https. Requesting a page using http when it the site is using https will result to that error. That has little to no effect on performance. Sorry for the confusion about that. To remedy that issue, please follow the instructions for your server at http://enable-cors.org/server.html.
Additionally, please optimize your images. You can use WP Smush.it or other image optimizatin plugins to do that.
We’d love to help you optimize your site but that is outside the scope of our support. I recommend you seek assistance from a WordPress developer for optimum health of your website.
Thank you.
May 4, 2015 at 6:59 pm #265412I’m still not sure how to do the CORs instruction 🙁 Godaddy hosts the website so I guess I will ask them about the Caching! I’m getting everything smushed right now 🙂 Thanks!
May 5, 2015 at 12:03 am #265540For the CORs, you need to work with GoDaddy with that as well as that is server related.
Thanks.
