Hi,

I have tried everything but nothing works. I have been using X for quite a long time. Suddenly my website is not opening at all. It has a slider revolution slide on home page. Whenever I open my website, Slider doesn’t load and page goes unresponsive. Initially I thought there is a problem with latest updated slider revolution, I deactivated it. Then reloaded the page, again it goes unresponsive. I am even not able to edit it in cornerstone. An urgent help would be needed.

To add one thing – Other pages are fine and working. I think there is some element on home page which is making the page unresponsive.

I ran the page on firefox. It tells me about a script which is not responding. I stopped the script and page runs fine. I opened the error console and following is the error –

“Error: Script terminated by timeout at:
e.prototype.typewrite/i.timeout<@http://www.creativeamit.com/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/assets/js/dist/site/cs-body.min.js?ver=1.2.2:2:7906”

Problem is something with the cornerstone. Please suggest.

Hey Amit,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Nevermind, I got that working. I think there is some problem with your text type widget. Probably, its compatibility with updated version of cornerstone. I removed that widget from my page and everything start working smoothly. May be you would want to check it. I am sure other users might be having similar problem.

THANK YOU Amit!!! I’ve been having major problems since the update of Cornerstone and my site has been down for 5 days due to it. After working on it for 5 hours today with the help of my very smart host service, we came up empty. Then your post stating it’s the TEXT TYPE widget. Here’s my forum post and I will refer others here.

X team — please update cornerstone to allow for all your elements. This turned out to be a major disaster for my business the last week. 🙁
