wackynationParticipantFor the last few days the web page is showing that it is saving changes, but actually when I come back later the changes have not saved. I have just created a new web page and the only version that saved in a 1 hour period is the original template despite the revisions being available.
So I used the latest revision version and now it won’t let me use cornerstone to make changes. Any idea’s what it going on. I have also asked my website hoster in case it is them and not you.
The page is Roarsome Dino Day and I’ll provide login details in next ticket

JadeModeratorHi there,
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Let us know how it goes.

wackynationParticipantThe only activated plugins I have are listed below. These are all supposed to be compatible with your X theme and I assume that if I deactivate these all my website work which has taken me 7 weeks to do will be lost. This is all new as I only bought your X theme in November.
Do you really think your own recommended plugins are causing the problem?
cornerstone
essential grid

FriechModeratorHi There,
You said above, “So I used the latest revision version and now it won’t let me use cornerstone to make changes.”
Regretfully, Cornerstone does not fully support the WP revision, and its consider editing the page outside the Cornerstone. With that said you can’t edit the page back in CS, unless you keep a backup (
.csl file / CS page template) of that page. Else you need to rebuild this page in Cornerstone, this should not take time (with CS) since you already have the content of the page ready.Thanks.

wackynationParticipantOk understand and will rebuild the page, but the X theme isn’t saving any of my work now hence my question above on what to do to get it to work. Can you help please.

FriechModeratorHi There,
Is that issue only happening to a specific page? which page?
I was able to work with this page: http://wackynation.co.uk/wp3/?page_id=1620 on Cornerstone.
Thanks.

wackynationParticipantDon’t know what happened but when you started to work on it I saw the whole page reload and it suddenly started working fine again thanks.

ChristianModeratorIt could have been just the cache.
Thanks.
