ChgrimParticipantHi,
I recently switched from blogit to xtheme. I am very glad I did, Xtheme is an amazing wordpress theme.
I do have some questions about customizing. My old site looked like this,
http://webnus.biz/themes/blogit-wp/blog-masonry/
and I have managed to customize my new site on WP to look like this
A couple of things I would love to do, but I can’t seem to figure out
-I really like how it shows the title of the article under the image and then the image of the author under the excerpt. How would I add this to mine?
-I tried to add the light gray background but when I change the color of the background in the customize settings nothing happens.
-finally, I would love to have a wider space on the edges and less space between the posts like in the blogit theme.
Thanks so much!

RupokMemberHi Chris,
Thanks for writing in!
#1. It would be hard to show author image on the posts on blog page. It could be possible with Child Theme but unfortunately it would be out of our support scope.
#2. You can add this under Custom > CSS in the Customizer.
.blog .x-main { background-color: #f4f7f8; }Hope this helps.

ChgrimParticipantI understand about the author and thanks for the background color fix.
Couple more questions.
Is there any way to put the title under the image?
Is there any way to get rid of the extra white space on either side of the image and the top when the title is moved under the image?
Thanks

FriechModeratorHi Chris,
Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
Thanks for understanding.
