    Hello,

    My site is http://ofsdistribution.com/

I ran the W3C CSS Validator and ran into a whole slew of problems that I can’t seem to figure out how to fix.

I believe most of them are stemming from my revslider.

If you can help steer me in the right direction, that would be most beneficial.

Please and thank you kindly in advance!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for posting in.

Personally, I have my own explanation for this 🙂 I don’t think we should follow every rule made through this validation. For example, this validation only works for css3 and we know that there are older ones like css1 and css2. We know that not all browsers behave the same, there were standards that should be implemented differently just to make it cross-browser friendly. There are cases that css3 is partially supported, or more. There are even vendor specific styling such us -webkit, -moz, and etc.

If you wish to follow this validation, then you’ll have to minimize the coding and styling, and probably will only support one browser at a time.

It’s your decision, and if you insist then you’re free to directly edit the mentioned files and remove the said coding. In case of rev. slider, you could do the same but update will overwrite your changes.

    Thanks!
