Since wp update
(yes I have also updated the theme)

No visual composer – just hamgs and times out and also my side bar is no scrolling down with the page content.
The sidebar is static unless you click on the sidebar only and use down key on pc to scroll down it?

Thanks for providing the information. Upon checking, you are using an older version of Visual Composer. Please make sure that you are fully updated (Theme and Plugins). Most of the time, out dated theme or plugins could create issues in your site.

Our latest versions are:
X Theme: 4.4.2
Cornerstone: 1.2.4
Visual Composer: 4.11.2
Revolution slider: 5.2.4.1

You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

I will look through now. But can you tell me why the updates needed are not showing me they need an update inside my admin area please?

I have validated my copy of the theme – so I should get notifictions of updates? I have for theme and 2 plugins so far which I updated right away.

I’m also now getting a message that I must activate my copy of visual composer inside admin?
Do I have to pay again and purchase this as the link goes to envato – what do I do?

Apart from visual composer – everything else inc. theme is up to date and site is still not working, please advise?

Hi there,

Thanks for updating. Sometimes update notification are not shown due to some security settings on your server. Also we had this issue on X v4.0.6. So if you had that older version, you might see this issue. Updating to latest version should solve the issue and you should see the update notifications. Also you can always check updates from Dashboard > Updates.

You don’t need to purchase license or activate Visual Composer to use with X and there is no license key provided for integrated plugins. However if you want the premium features (support from WPBakery) then you need to purchase a separate license from CodeCanyon.

Kindly update Visual Composer and let us know.

Updated- same issue in ff. It’s worse in any other browser too I see after checking. The sidebar in other browsers is showing at the bottom of the page now – not the side? Please can you help?

Hi there,

Another support here, would you mind providing a screen recording of what you’re getting? I don’t understand the part of sidebar not scrolling with the page. Are you referring the sidebar on front-page or in admin?

Perhaps, you have custom coding. There is no way a sidebar can’t scroll along with the page, unless, intentionally customized for fixed positioning.

Your stack is also an icon which has a special feature for the sidebar and a blank template. It’s when the sidebar has independent scrolling, while the content has its scrolling too. It’s intentional feature and not a bug.

Hi there,

Your screen shot didn’t upload, please resize the file and upload it again.

Nano sidebar has no visible scroll bar, but you can easily scroll on it by moving cursor.

I checked your site and wasn’t able to replicate the issue with sidebar.
