jjmichalskiParticipantHello,
I just came across a problem with the visual composer. I have three X Theme licenses for three different websites under the same hosting.
The first one (http://www.thefuturepositive.com) is running on X Theme 2.0.0 and suddenly when trying to use the Visual Composer it says “Loading, please wait…” but never gets to load. This had never happened until today. I also can’t see where I can update XTheme anywhere in the CMS.
The second one (http://www.futurepositivestudio.com) is running on X Theme 4.3.4 and the visual composer doesn’t load the content on the pages. Again, this hadn’t happened until today.
The third one (http://www.terapia-zmiana.pl) is running on X Theme 4.4.2 and there’s no problem with the visual composer.
Could you please help me so the visual composer works properly again?
I thought that this might be a problem with the hosting first but they’re all under the same hosting and the third website works well.
Kind regards,
Jakub

RupokMemberHi Jakub,
Thanks for writing in! Based on your information, it sounds the issue is causing because you are using very older version of X on first two sites. Last website seems updated that’s why it’s working properly.
Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)
You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.
If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.
Note: For the first site, As you are using very older version of X, make sure to create a backup first since you might face some issue on migration. Perhaps you are using X Shortcodes with that which has been replaced by Cornerstone. So make sure to remove this and install Cornerstone.
Cheers!

jjmichalskiParticipantHi Rupok,
Thanks for getting back to me. We’ve updated the theme on one of the pages but the Visual Composer is still not loading properly.
Just to double check, we use WPBakery Visual Composer. Is it what we supposed to be using?
Thanks,
Jakub
