    I have three sites running X.
    Henleyhome.com – X version 4.4.1, Visual Composer 4.9.2
    Starlightranchhoaweb.com – X version 4.4.2, VC 4.9.2
    TrulyLit.com – X version 4.4.1, VC 4.1.3

    The only one that VC still works is TrulyLit. I have not upgraded X or VC on that site since it went live.

    Both Henleyhome.com and Starlightranchhoaweb.com show update available for VC but that requires buying a separate license. I have been happy with all sites until today. I can use Cornerstone but that is not a good option as all my developers have been using VC. Please advise. I can supply passwords if needed.

    I got Henleyhome to work by disabling some of the plugins but I did not upgrade to x 4.4.2.
    My main problem is still with starlightranchhoaweb.com which will not enable editing either a new page or a page that was previously created using Visual Composer. I disabled most of the unnecessary plugins (same as henleyhome) but no joy.

    Please advise.

    Hi there,

    Would you please backup your site and confirm if we have permission to try to update VC in your site?

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    I was able to replicate the issue on your end.
    There is update available for VC without requiring purchasing the license.

    Please update it or if you have problem updating the plugin, confirm that we have permission to try to do this.

    I am having the same issue as well. Where do I update the VC plugin? The update fails on the installed plugins menu.
