matthewseymourParticipantHi,
I’ve used visual composer with a number of sites, but I’m pretty confused about the integration that is offered with this theme. I thought I was buying a theme that worked well with visual composer, but I’m having a number of issues. I’m finding it very hard to work with the VC plugin with x-theme when I’m trying to set up the layout. All the padding options that used to be there under row options seem to have disappeared and so the layout is very difficult to control.
If I’m honest I don’t think that this theme really works well with VC.
I tried cornerstone, but it would not load elements for me and so I’ve given up (I was working on local version of my site so it couldn’t be related to connectivity issues).
Can you tell me how I can gain reasonable control over layout within VC using your theme?
Thanks,
Matthew

matthewseymourParticipantHi, thanks for your reply. I’m using the theme on a local development site so I don’t have a URL for the working site. Can you not respond to my questions about setting up layout control with VC without a URL? Thanks, Matthew

RadModeratorHi there,
X theme integration includes removal of some VC’s native elements, changing existing features of VC’s native elements, and adding new X elements. Hence, it may work differently to the way you expect as standalone VC. But we recently implemented a way to disable the X integration so the user could use VC as standalone, but that also means removal of X’s feature from VC.
Som features may not work well with integration since they aren’t actually integrated, but if I could check it then maybe I could help with some work around. How about a video recording of the issue you’re getting?
Thanks!
