    Unfortunately I have a large website that was built in VC; can’t switch it to Cornerstone at this time. I see that support had responded to another query with this comment: “Visual Composer has been updated to 4.11.1. Please uninstall Visual Composer and install again via Addons.”

    If I do this, won’t it mess up my VC site that is currently running VC 4.9.2? I really can’t afford a mess happening. Please advise me on this issue. Thank you.

    Isn’t Visual Composer a part of X and supposed to be updated together with the theme?
    I have no separate license with Wpbakery and can therefore not update it manually.

    Please correct me if I have misunderstood something here.

    Hi there,

    That’s correct, the latest version of Visual Composer which fixes issues with Visual Composer and WordPress 4.5 will be bundled with the next version of X, which should be released later today.
