    Hi!

My site worked fine earlier today. I installed a plugin for adding noindex for content in WP like tag archives, category pages etc. I don’t know if it’s that plugin that has caused this, but now, about five hours later, my page acts very strange.

    It’s http://www.markusp.se.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ',' in /customers/1/f/a/markusp.se/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/helpers/helpers_api.php on line 58

This is the error message I get when I try to enter the site. BUT, it works in incognito mode, or at least about half of the pages on the website. Very strange…

Maybe you do not support Visual Composer anymore, but can someone at least point me in the right direction? Don’t know what to do!

    Best regards, Markus

Yes I can provide you with the login credentials, the only problem is that the error occurs on /wp-admin as well so I can’t login to WordPress.

    Hi there,

Do you think you edited the Visual Composer files? In that case, kindly remove the entire plugin folder and install again from X Addons page. You can also remove the new plugin you used later if the issue still persist.

    Thanks

    Hi there Rupok!

I do not know what to do when I can’t even log in to WordPress.

Can you please try to reach this page: http://www.markusp.se/wp-admin

The attached screenshot shows you what I see.

    Hi there,

Please connect to FTP and remove js_composer folder from wp-content/plugins, next login to your site and install it again from X addons page.

    Hope it helps.

Thanks Cristopher, that’s exactly what I needed to hear! 🙂

I deleted the js_composer folder via FTP. Installed Visual Composer in WP X addons and now the whole website works properly again.

    Thanks again!

    /Markus
