Hi,
Since updating to WordPress 4.0 the visual composer is gone.
What can I do to get it back?September 12, 2014 at 3:10 am #103336Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
Kindly navigate to Settings > Visual Composer in WordPress Dashboard
and try to check if visual composer is enabled in post or page.September 14, 2014 at 6:24 pm #104696Thank you,
I disabled and enabled all of the options but it doesn’t change a thing.
When editing a page, the composer will only show me the html-text and no images etc.September 14, 2014 at 7:43 pm #104720Hey there,
Please ensure you’ve updated X and the plugins included to their latest version and temporarily deactivate all third party plugins. If Visual Composer still won’t show, please give us access to your WordPress admin and FTP so we could see the problem in the back-end.
Thanks.

Still haven’t been able to resolve – the site is octomedia.com.au
What’s the best way to send you login details?

It seems there is a plugin conflict with X theme. Please deactivate all the third party plugins and test the Visual Composer again. If you are able to see the VC then start activating the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin. You’ll need to find an alternative for that.
Let us know hoe this goes!
