Hi guys,
I’m making my homepage with the visual composer and I’ve set a background image in the ‘page settings’ menu.
Now I try to make sure I can see the background image through the visual composer row but I don’t know what css code I must create. Can you guys help me out? Here you can see a screenshot of the homepage. As you can see there is a little difference between the background of middle of the website and the actual background. The actual background is the only thing I would like to see.
Thanks a lot!
February 10, 2014 at 7:08 pm #13060Hey Thomas,
Thanks for writing in! If I’m understanding you correctly, you’d like to see the background for your site all the way through as the background for the content in this row as well, correct? Unfortunately, this is not possible due to the way Renew is constructed. I see that you have Boxed set for your Site Layout in the Customizer. When you do this, there is a <div> with a class name of site that gets styling to box in the content of your website. This element also receives a white background, making it not transparent for your content. You could of course make this element transparent, but it would mean that the styling for all of your other elements will look off on your site.
Hopefully this provides some insight for you on this particular issue. Thanks!

The alternative you gave me is one solution of course, but all the other pages have to be boxed so that would be a bit too many changes.
Maybe I can just cut out the image and try to align it with the background? big puzzle, but maybe it works! 🙂Thanks again!
