Hey, I tried to look on the forum first but nothing seems to be like I have.
Sometimes I do an update and it works sometimes it does not.
I have tried to reinstall the VC plugin from the X folder, I think it sometimes autoupdates
I can’t see the backend editor. I know the layout on the frontend is ok but backend I can only guess the shortcode, there is no UI
September 13, 2014 at 6:33 pm #104325Ok, Points to note here. I’ve just deactivated all my plugins and its now working so I am going to bug test to find out which one is conflicting

September 13, 2014 at 6:40 pm #104331Ok interesting. If you install InfiniteWP plugin and have not yet activated the plugin. So you have your details in the nag bar at the top then it conflicts with the visual backend editor. As soon as you link the InfiniteWP client plugin to the main site so that the nag disappears then VC works as normal.

April 23, 2015 at 3:32 pm #256932I’m having issues with Visual Composer disappearing because of a conflict somewhere. Unfortunately both the membership plugin MemberMouse and Visual Composer are required.
Has anyone solved their plugin conflicts?
Visual Composer and Membermouse both try to insert themselves in the area right above the content editor, and I feel like there is a jquery conflict here somewhere.
April 23, 2015 at 8:00 pm #257093Hello @michael,
Would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials, if necessary, so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site

– WordPress Admin username / password (only if necessary)Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thank you.
April 29, 2015 at 8:11 pm #261823Aloha, I am having the same problem that @michael is having above. I currently configuring MemberMouse and noticed that I’ve lost my Visual Composer. If I disable MemberMouse, VC returns. Obvious conflict, Hope this is resolved sooner than my deadline 🙂
Thanks,
NickApril 29, 2015 at 11:09 pm #261940Hi Nick,
It seems this is same with when there is WordPress SEO plugin. There are a few who also have the same problem and we found out that VC will disappear when other plugin is enabled. This is another case with MemberMouse.
On this specific case we recommend you to contact the Support Team of the plugin, they should know better the inner behavior of their product and should provide a solution in less time.
If they do not provide support for conflicts with other plugins, what you can do:
1. Deactivate Visual Composer, and work with X shortcodes.
2. Choose some alternative to “Member Mouse”.If there’s anything else, we can help you with, please let us know.
