Hello,
Im having a bit of trouble with my wordpress page. I was working on it and all was fine, then i updated to wordpress 4.0 and suddenly the Visual composer had vanished. it was still on the menu and activated in plugins but had just vanished from all posts and pages. I tried deactivating other plugins like jet pack to see if it was conflicting… no such luck. still wasnt appearing.
i had updated the theme, but i thought id just make sure i updated to the most recent release, which i did.
still no luck.
then i downloaded your shortcodes updates and updated them using ftp. and when i tried to go to the admin screen of my webpage i now get this error!
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare x_shortcodes_init() (previously declared in /websites/123reg/LinuxPackage22/ro/be/rt/robertkirbylondon.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/x-shortcodes/setup.php:33) in /websites/123reg/LinuxPackage22/ro/be/rt/robertkirbylondon.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/x-shortcodes/x-shortcodes.php on line 60
I’ve no idea what to do now!

This error shows that x-shortcode plugin just installed 2 times in two different folders inside plugins folder.
Would you please go to wp-content/plugins folder via FTP and delete folders that have x-shortcodes (Maybe with a number suffix). Then access to your dashboard and install the plugin again by downloading from:
http://theme.co/x/member/x-shortcodes/
