Hi There, trying to embed a Vimeo video not only showing up with the URL! Can you help?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! It’s supposed to work but you can also try the shortcode version – https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/vimeo/

This is the native WordPress functionality which is not controlled by theme. We suggest using Cornerstone and our “Embedded Video” elements for better look and responsiveness.
