Hi, I’m trying to stream a youtube video in my homepage slider. I put the YouTube link, but it says change slider to video. How do I do that?

Thanks for writing in! Would you mind providing us more info on what is happening. Where is it telling you to switch slider to video? What slider are you using? Also, please provide us with login credentials so we can take a closer look. To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Hi There,

I can’t login with the credentials you provided above, please confirm. #1 How do you want to setup the YouTube on your slider? If it is a Video Background, you can select the YouTube Video background option and put the video ID on the field (not the whole URL)

If it is a Slide Layer you can also do that with the video ID

#2 I am not seeing any title on your page, are you referring to this?

That is the breadcrumbs, you can disable that on Customizer under the Header panel and look for the Breadcrumbs option.

Before we continue with the issue, could you please make sure that everything is up to date?

Our latest versions are:
X Theme: 4.4.2
Cornerstone: 1.2.4
Revolution slider: 5.2.4.1

You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

I have the latest version of X and the latest version of Rev Slider.

My Cornertsone is not the latest version for some reason. Do you think that’s the reason my Video Slider is not working??

If so, how can I just update Cornerstone?

Please help me with my Video Slider.

Hi There,

I did go ahead and set the YouTube video as the background of your slide, see this page: http://www.fincaniza.com/x-test-x/

Yes, I did place an image cover on it.

You need to update the X|Theme and Cornerstone to the latest version and all other 3rd party plugins as well, since you already have the latest version of WordPress (v4.5.2) this is to avoid compatibility issue.
