I’m switching a big site with many video posts to X theme, with the Ethos stack. The videos are there on the posts, and they’re working, but they’re not at the top of the page. Instead, there’s a large white space with an error message. Do all of my video posts need to be changed to some other post type? Or is there some other way to fix this that wouldn’t take so much time? I can’t show you my site because it’s currently on a staging site. I don’t want it to go live until it works.

Thanks for writing in.

I’m not sure what’s the issue and what causing it yet. Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

If your videos are only working for specific post type, then you’ll have to convert it and add required data to make them work on X theme.

This is also happening to me. How do I fix it?
When you click on my video links in the carousel slider, it goes to my post, but has a large blank spot. If you scroll down, the video is there. It doesn’t look nice with the blank spot and it appears there isn’t any posts to a visitor.

You added your video within the content. When you select a video post format, you’ll have to add your video within Video Post Settings section. Please check this https://community.theme.co/kb/meta-options-posts/
