    I have watched all the slider videos and read lots of Q&As on forum regarding this but still can’t figure this out. I am able to add a little youtube video inside the slider, but that’s not what i’m looking for. I want a background video, similar to the demo of integrity 1. I know that when you select a slider above or below masthead, it also give you an option to insert a link for the background video. So I’ve created a sample slider, with transparent slide with some font on it, and I’m trying to copy/ paste a number of sample mp4 video that I found on youtube and vimeo but none of them seem to be working. I don’t need to download the mp4 video, do I? I can just use a link? If so, please specify what kind of a link I need to use. Thanks so much for all your help! This theme is awesome! 🙂

    Hi Olianna,

    Thank you for writing in!

    In order to add video background you need to add a direct link (see: http://prntscr.com/43zeu1), embed videos won’t work in it. This could either be a self hosted video or a direct link to the vimeo video. However I’d advise you to please watch our sliders video walkthrough: http://theme.co/x/member/kb/sliders/ as we have explained in a detailed way.

    Hope this helps. 🙂

    Thank you.

    I have watched the sliders video a bunch of times, as I said earlier. It shows how to use the sliders, but doesn’t go into detail on how to make a video slider. I know where I should place the link, what I’m having trouble understanding is why the links added don’t work:

    Example:

    I tried plugging in this, its an mp4 video directly from youtube:

    and this by which is a “embed version” of the same link:

    <iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”//www.youtube.com/embed/N6ZAJc8gnYs” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>

    But nothing seems to work! And yes, my slider is transparent.

    Please help!

    I figured out how to add background video through the video slide layer, but not through the video background link. This is a problem because I want the same video for all my slides. Now I have to manually put the video as a video slide in every slide or is there a way to use that background video thing? I have also downloaded the video into my Media and have the url mp4 link to it. Please help, thank you!

    Edomias, your site looks great! How did you get those background lines? Did you have to upload them separately? If so, where exactly?

    @Edomias,

    Your background video works fine here, could you be more specific on how you added it and which OS/Browser?

    @olianna,

    Please provide a url of your mp4 video so I could do a test too. Videos from youtube, vimeo, and etc are not possible to be as background video. Background video should be mp4. May I know your site’s url too?

    Thanks!

    Hi I am an extreme newbie so here goes..

    I downloaded the following video to use as my background video for the top slider in my integrity theme… http://videohive.net/item/soybean-growing-3/10947248 . I uploaded it to my c-panel, unzipped it, and I’m self hosting it with the url link http://www.gpgardening.com/Soybean-2015-3.mov . I’ve created the transparent slider like the instructions, but nothing happens as far as the video. My server Liquid Web says everything looks fine on their end. Please help. I’m being stubborn and don’t want to move forward on any part of the site until I figure it out.

    Hello There,

    Thanks for updating this thread! Please convert your video to a more preferred video format .webm, .mp4 and/or .ogv. These are the most preferred and cross browser video format.

    Please let us know how it goes.
