I have read several posts on here regarding this, and I understand that html5 video does not play on mobile devices. I have several sites on X using video backgrounds. Here is what I have found:
When I use video as the section background in Cornerstone it does not play on touch screen laptops in chrome.
When I use a video background in Revolution Slider it does play on touch screen laptops in chrome.
I am trying to figure out if there is a technical solution to this. I prefer to use the native cornerstone video background tool in most cases.
Is there a way that chrome browsers can render cornerstone video backgrounds on touchscreen laptops?

Yes video background is disabled on mobile intentionally and some hybrid devices (with touch screen) has some known issue as they sometimes being treated as mobile devices/Tablets.
Thanks!

It won’t work unless you disable touch feature from your hybrid laptop.
Thanks!
