Hi there,
I have had a video player on my Cornerstone home page for over a year, with Autoplay On, Loop On, Mute On etc. Today I purchased an additional video, converted it to .mp4, and added it to a new section, on the same home page, with the same settings as the first video I have had for a year. Since I’ve added the second video, AutoPlay no longer works for either video unless I manually click on one of the videos. Clicking on videos is the only way to get both to play but they won’t play simultaneously. I have to click one video to start or stop it, and when I start one the other stops. It’s very frustrating.
Could you please assist? Thank you in advance.

Thanks for writing in!
Looks like you have removed the videos, would you mind publishing again?
Thanks.

They are both there. Please let me know if you need more information.
Thanks!

Thanks for the URL, unfortunately HTML5 video player does not allow playing multiple video simultaneously by default. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
Thanks for understanding.
September 28, 2016 at 8:05 am #1193859Thank you but I don’t want them to play at the same time, I want them to play automatically one at a time, once each one in focus or scrolled to, in the same way that the other graphics move and jiggle when they are scrolled to. Can you provide a name/feature of a child theme, video player or video attribute or plug-in that I should be looking for that can do this, in order to make this happen?
September 28, 2016 at 10:43 am #1194106I see. Focusing (using the tab key) or even hovering will really not play the video. That is not a feature even in video hosting sites. You can focus by tabbing to the play button though and hit the space key to play. It would require custom development to build that feature.
We value each of our customers regardless of the number of license purchased. This doesn’t mean we could always provide custom code or recommend a plugin though. We strive to help if we can but there are instances where the line must be drawn.
Regarding plugins you can use, I’m sorry but I have not seen such plugin that can achieve what you need. Maybe you can try out video hosting service such as Wistia.
Thank you for understanding.
September 28, 2016 at 11:26 am #1194179I don’t want video hosting – that is nowhere near related to my original request – but thank you anyway for your time.
