JfantasyBooksParticipantHello,

Site: Fantasy-Books
Site Url: https://fantasy-books.live
WordPress Version: 4.7.1
X Version: 4.6.4

I would like to make a vertical Menu using the Ubermenu add on, though for when the site is in mobile/tablet only.
Can you help me?

RupokMemberHi there,
If you use Ubermenu then it will replace the regular X menu. So it’s not really possible to use them at the same time for mobile/desktop. You can use our another integrated menu plugin Superfly
Cheers!

JfantasyBooksParticipantThanks for replying,
I was referring to Ubermenu. Is there a way to make it a vertical Menu, but only for mobile. In the control panel, it gives you the option to switch the orientation to a vertical one, but it doesn’t give you the option to differentiate between mobile and non mobile.
That being the case, I was hoping their was a css I could use to make the ubermenu orient vertically when it’s on mobile screens.

RadModeratorHi there,
Yes, it’s not possible to selectively display menu layout based on device. You can try the combination of Ubermenu and SupertFly, and let the SuperFly handle the vertical menu.
Thanks!

JfantasyBooksParticipantThanks for replying.
Given your suggestion, is it possible to have Ubermenu deactivated for mobile, and superfly deactivated for desktop?
I’ve never used superfly before. I don’t want to activate it and it breaks something because ubermnu is activated similarly.
Have you seen any cases where they have tried this?

RupokMemberHi there,
It’s possible to use Ubermenu and Superfly together. You can follow the guide of Superfly – https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-superfly/ and Ubermenu – https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-ubermenu/ and set up them. Hopefully you will be able to set them up. Let us know if you need help to hide them on desktop/mobile.
Cheers!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Please add following code in Customize -> Custom -> Global CSS :
a.ubermenu-responsive-toggle.ubermenu-responsive-toggle-main.ubermenu-skin-trans-black.ubermenu-loc-primary.ubermenu-responsive-toggle-content-align-center.ubermenu-responsive-toggle-align-full { display: none; }Hope that helps.

JfantasyBooksParticipantUnfortunately, the two plugins conflict with each other on the back end, in the menu section. It slows the entire site down.
Is there a way I can use x theme’s menu navigation, but only for mobile?
Once I disable ubermenu, you can’t see anything.

LelyModeratorHi There,
Replacing ubermenu with X theme on mobile can only be achieved using customization that is beyond the scope of our support. Please note that by default, the integration of Ubermenu on X theme replaces the entire X theme menu. It is either Ubermenu or X theme regardless of the screen size. Thank you for understanding.

JfantasyBooksParticipantI understand. Thank You
