    Hi- I’m trying to register my development (staging) site on wpengine but I get the message: This site URL is not a match for your API key.

    Both my main website (which is not yet active on wpengine) and the development site (which I am using now to build a new website before moving my domain name to wpengine) are added (per your instructions) in Manage Licenses. Can someone help me?

    Hi Kim,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    I got it to work. I had migrated an old site over to wpengine and created my staging from that old site. I noticed a lot of out of date plugins. I purged that install, started clean, and voila! works!!
