June 7, 2016 at 6:27 am #1029732Is there another method, a way of using the form created at mailchimp in the X theme site?
Surely there is?
June 7, 2016 at 10:21 am #1030083Hi There,
Can you provide more details about you are trying to achieve?
You can use Email Forms Addon to display your mailchimp forms.
Is there any functionality you are missing?
Let us know more details,
Joao

Thanks, folks.
July 8, 2016 at 1:44 pm #1078257We certainly appreciate the feedback! This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive. Thanks!
July 19, 2016 at 10:44 pm #1094700I’ll add my voice to the request as we also want people to be able to specify their country when they sign up via our footer so we avoid sending them emails with irrelevant event details.
Hope this is zooming up the list with the X team!
Thanks!
Mary

September 4, 2016 at 6:16 am #1160470Hi. I’ve been using the “MailChimp Top Bar” plugin for my WordPress integration. This has the ability to integrate a MailChimp signup checkbox into comments forms and registration forms.
It’s allowed me to add a subscription option to comments form. But I think because X Theme has a bespoke registration and login template, the registration integration doesn’t work.
X-Email Form seems to allow all registrations to be added automatically to a list, but in the UK/EU you’re legally supposed to allow them to choose.
Adding similar functionality to X-Email Form or resolving issues with MailChimp Top Bar would be very helpful.

September 7, 2016 at 5:31 am #1164251Hi guys!
Is there any way that I can add an additional option (like the title “Mr./Mrs.”) to the newsfeed signup field?
For me it’s necessary to differ between both.
I hope you understand what I mean.Thank you so much,
SchorschSeptember 7, 2016 at 2:11 pm #1164964We have noted your request too, Schorsch.
Thank you!
September 27, 2016 at 6:52 pm #1193103Adding my 2 cents here- I am just finding out that the only fields that are able to be collected in X are the email and name fields, which makes it pretty useless for me, unfortunately. It seems like this has been a really common request for over two years. I get that you can’t provide an ETA but please note that this is something that people REALLY want. I have almost no situations on any of my websites where I only want to collect email and name. Thanks for listening… I’m off to look for a plugin that is more useful.
