DEV URL: http://www.interconcepts.org/dev/
Latest WP, X, Shortcodes, Erc.MP4 URL: https://embed-ssl.wistia.com/deliveries/7ff927ef2d446075f805c7fdd904ddaae9a68d72/file.mp4
I followed the Slider Revolution video tutorial to make a fullscreen slider with a transparent slide. I pasted the MP4 URL into the above masthead field and nothing happened. I’ve also tried uploading the video to several different servers so the problem does seem to be with X.
Please advise.

In that case, please give us access to your WordPress admin so we could see your slider setup and give you a tailored solution.
Thanks.

Try to use self hosted video instead of embedded one,I think the issue will be solved.
Hope that helps.
December 10, 2014 at 10:13 am #161966No, that doesn’t help. As mentioned in the original post, I have tried the self-hosted method on several different servers. It shouldn’t matter as long as I get the MP4 file as stated in the video tutorial anyway. If you look at the video URL, it is not an embed code but the direct path to the file, just like it would be with Vimeo which was the example used in the tutorial.
Just to make sure one more time, I’ve reuploaded to the client server and placed the video here: http://canary-diving.com/vids/diving.mp4 and it still did not solve the problem.

The video works but it was covered by opaque white background from your slider settings.
I just fixed them for you.
Cheers!
December 10, 2014 at 4:59 pm #162263Hi ken,
Thank you for writing in, Here what I understand, do you want to create a slider with a background video just like the demo integrity 1?.
Ok will do it rev slider, Go to your slide settings then create a new video layer. and follow this configuration. Place your video url on “Video MP4 URL:” then save/update.
And you will have a slider that will look something like this
Let us know how it goes. Cheers!
December 11, 2014 at 4:48 am #162573Thanks for getting rid of the opaque background. Not sure how it got there since I selected transparent slide, but it’s fixed now.
December 11, 2014 at 11:31 am #162808Hi Kenrick,
The slide is transparent but Rev Slider’s default slider settings(the container adds a background) see http://prntscr.com/5foapb . By making it transparent, the video background will become visible.
Hope this helps!

https://www.veragroupinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/veragroupinc (5).mp4
tohttps://www.veragroupinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/veragroupinc%20(5).mp4
Also, there seems to be a problem with your video. When you play the video directly it doesn’t play smoothly. You might want to reformat the video using software like Format Factory. That however, falls outside the scope of our support.
Thanks.
