Hi,
No, it will not alter the appearance of your old site nor disable any of your plugins.
It will only turn off automatic updates.
Thanks
April 14, 2016 at 7:54 pm #883339Hi guys,
After reading the thread and all the useful help it seems like I should be able to revoke the license from my old domain and use it for my new as stated above:
“You can revoke the API Key for the current domain (pogromcanudy.pl) and generate again for the new one (niedzwiedziembyć.pl) from your Themeco account.”
However, after doing so in the account settings, the new domain still says “Your license of X is not validated.”
Any thoughts on that?
Thanks!

1] Please login to your account and assign the license to your new domain.
2] Please login to your new domain and go to X Addons > Home and insert the license to be able to validate your X theme in the new domain.Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.
June 9, 2016 at 1:46 am #1033503If I am using two domains but the site is exactly the same on both (content, look and feel, functionality, etc) do I need to pay for another license? I was a bit confused by this line on the envato website:
5.You can make any number of copies of the single End Product, as long as the End Product is distributed for Free.
June 9, 2016 at 1:52 am #1033511Hi @sarahlu
When you have two different websites no matter how similar they are, you need to install WordPress separately, right? Similarly you need separate X license to validate this.
Hope this makes sense.

Yes, you can create multiple copies of your site as long as it’s just the same project, and as long as it’s not distributed commercially. It’s the same as having multiple subdomains, but the just same project.
The only limitation with this is, you can only validate and enable automatic updates on the single instance of WordPress.
BUT, if your domain promotes different name that is as well consider different branding and project. Hence, you may need to buy another license per unique domain/project.
Thanks!

No, because they are different projects. And also, 1 license is allowed for 1 domain. You can copy your site to another domain but you will need to register it separately.
Thanks.

You are allowed to use X in your validated domain. So you can validate one site (and a staging site) with one single license. So if your domain is not validated, you can’t use X there.
That’s it.
