I have a few questions.
1. Can I use this theme after purchasing it once on multiple domains that are not being sold or transferred, just my own domains? I’m not sure how the licensing works for a user like me. I have a few domains and you guys earned me wanting to only use X for the rest of my wordpress life.
2. If answer to the last question is “no you have to buy again for each site” then can I just pay you guys through Themeforest for the theme again and not have to download it again but just use the one I have saved on my CPU?
Thank you 🙂
March 28, 2014 at 10:35 pm #27656Hi Michael,
Regular License
Use, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users are not charged for
You can check more about regular license at the URL below
http://themeforest.net/licenses/regular
Extended License
Use, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users can be charged for
You can check more about extended license at the URL below
http://themeforest.net/licenses/extended
Fore more info about Themeforest licenses check out URL below
http://themeforest.net/licenses
You can surely buy multiple licenses at Themeforest and use the same downloaded theme.
Thanks
May 1, 2014 at 10:10 am #39363It appears that Envato just updated their license terms and descriptions. Still didn’t find the answer to my specific question, so I will defer to the great guys at X Theme!
As mentioned in another thread, I’m about to complete a project for a church. They bought a copy of the theme for themselves using their own credentials.
In this project the church has multiple sites. So in the scope of the project, I’ve divy’ed up the sites into separate WP installs all under the same domain; IE:
http://www.churchname.com
http://www.churchname.com/site1
http://www.churchname.com/site2
http://www.churchname.com/site3
http://www.churchname.com/site4It’s a total of five installs, yet under the same ‘domain’. Would this be considered ‘one product’ or because of the technical limitations I was working under, would it be considered five separate products.
When the site goes live, we want to be sure all licensing is in order.
Thanks for your insight!

May 1, 2014 at 9:36 pm #39611Hi Brian,
You will only need extended license if you’re going to use it as commercial, like if you’re going to use x for a sub domain/space that you’re about to sell or lease as package, or something like that.
You’re fine to use regular license in multiple install on same domain.
Thank You.
May 20, 2015 at 7:00 pm #278243Hi there,
Is one regular license fine for a “multiple install/same domain” setup, if subdomains are used instead of subdirectories?
That is, do I need to buy one license per subdomain for the following setup:
http://domain.com
http://news.domain.com
http://support.domain.com
a.s.o.Neither of the sites are commercial, each has its distinct WP install, not a multisite WP install. So I am not envisioning a subsite.wordpress.com type of setup. It is just a number of subdomains of the same domain each having its own WP install working with distinct X theme installs under one regular license.
Regards,
Gabriel
May 20, 2015 at 9:44 pm #278345Hi Gabriel,
A license is only entitled for one domain only, and automatic update is only possible to one installation. As for sub installations, as long as they are just the same or promote the same site then regular license is okay.
Cheers!

May 31, 2015 at 12:22 am #287292Hey Sanchit,
Before purchasing a theme in Themeforest, the License Details is available for reading (see http://prntscr.com/7bdm1r). Additionally, we ask that the tone be kept courteous and professional (with a little fun on the side). If posts are made outside this realm, we reserve the right to remove them and in certain cases, the user account as well.
Thank you for understanding.
January 5, 2016 at 2:55 pm #733172Hi:)
Year ago I installed X on my old domain. (pogromcanudy.pl_
Now i rather wanna work with my newest domain. (niedzwiedziembyć.pl)
Can I unistall X theme on this old domain, and use it on my new domain without any problems – after unistal on OLD domain actualization will work good on new site?;))Becouse if I understand this right way – I can’t use X theme (64$) on my two pages the same time:)?
January 5, 2016 at 9:36 pm #733539Thanks for writing in! You can revoke the API Key for the current domain (pogromcanudy.pl) and generate again for the new one (niedzwiedziembyć.pl) from your Themeco account.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
February 13, 2016 at 3:23 pm #794460“Regular License

Would I be forgiven if I say that this Envato licencing statement is a whole load of nonsense? How about simplicity?
Both you wonderful developers and the eggheads at Envato could have a nice little meeting and clarify/simplify the terms of using your products. I mean, what’s wrong with say:
$63 – if you want to use on one domain
$xxx – if you want to use on multiple domains?I have been buying and using themes for a pretty long time – Elegant, Premiumpress, theme-junkie, Woo, Studiopress – and yet I have not gotten my head round the exact meaning of that legal mumbo-jumbo at Envato.
It’s like the ridiculously small print on financial documents when they want to make sure that you never understand them, and they rip you off later.
The bottom line? Please help us to make some sense of the Envato license. Otherwise you will still get asked what it means and how it works, since I know so many people who still struggle to understand it.
That’s me having my say. I hope somebody does the right thing
February 14, 2016 at 11:06 am #795224Hi @elviso
Thanks for your feedback. As said and mentioned earlier several times, license terms, sales etc. are handled by Envato, the mother company of Themeforest and we sell through them and surely respect their terms and conditions. It would be best, if you chime on their forum or reach to their support regarding their terms if you have any confusion or suggestion.
Let us know if you face any issue with our theme. We’ll be happy to assist you.
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers!
March 31, 2016 at 11:27 am #861054Hey guys,
first of all thanks for the great theme! My company is changing it’s name and website in order to have smooth transition we want to first finish the website before cutting off the old one. Is there a way to do this without purchasing a second license?
Thanks for your help!
March 31, 2016 at 9:17 pm #861809Hi Manubeer,
Sure, you can do that. But that means your license doesn’t belong to your old site and name anymore 🙂
A regular license is only applicable per one project at a time. But it doesn’t tie you up to specific name/domain.
Thanks.
April 1, 2016 at 3:10 am #862214Thanks so far. Will it affect the appearance of my old site if I revoke my license from it in order to start building my new site with it?
Will extensions like Revolution Slider be disabled for example?
