I’m using the ICON stack, and have activated the Slider Revolution. My goal is to create a full width “hero image” just below the header on several pages.

The order top to bottom is: the header/nav top of page, followed by a full page width slider, followed by a content left / sidebar right container and finally the full width footer.

When I use the standard text or wysiwyg editor, I can’t figure out how to make the slider go full width. My sidebar runs clear to the top of the page. http://cfod.wpengine.com/fitness-conditioning/

I can make it work using Cornerstone https://cfod.wpengine.com/test/ but because this is a membership site with lots of additional shortcodes, I would very much like to avoid using Cornerstone if possible.

I have tried a number of different templates with no luck. Could css do it? Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Ps: I’ve also tried using the content band shortcode like this:
    [content_band style=”color: #f5f6fa;” bg_image=”/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Chocolate-Lab-Senior-1.jpg” class=”image_top” parallax=”false” border=”bottom” no_margin=”true” inner_container=”true”][gap size=”300px”] [custom_headline style=”margin-top: 0; color: #fff;” level=”h3″ looks_like=”h1″]Arthritis & Senior Issues[/custom_headline][gap size=”200px”][/content_band]

Page => http://cfod.wpengine.com/arthritis-seniors/ but the responsiveness is wacky and of course there’s that sidebar issue again.

    Hey Mary,

Your site is not view-able because of htaccess restriction. Please disable it. For now, please check the page template you’re using. You will want to use Blank | No Container – Header Footer. See https://community.theme.co/kb/page-templates/ for more details.

    Thanks.
