Hi, I’m trying to set up a page with Essential Grid to act as my main portfolio page (it suits my needs better than the built in portfolio templates).
The problem I’m having is that when you click into the individual portfolio items, the breadcrumbs don’t recognise the Essential grid page I created.
The parent page/title in the landmark will either be blank (if there isn’t an existing page set to use a portfolio template) or will contain the details of whatever other page has been assigned the portfolio page template.
So I’m wondering if there’s a solution to this:
Maybe…
– A way to make the ‘portfolio parent’ option a page that’s not set the portfolio template (i.e. my Essential Grid page)?
– A way to force the breadcrumbs to show the details of the page I want?
– A way to customise the portfolio template so it instead shows my grid?I’m using renew, thanks.

Thanks for providing those details.
I’ve taken a look at this for you and currently there isn’t a way to add those breadcrumbs from the Essential Grid page to the individual portfolio items, though this seems more to be a bug with breadcrumbs with how they interact with Essential Grid. I’ve opened this as a bug for our development team to further look into, which should be patched in a future release.
Thank you!
